Established in 1946, as the first regional Brittany Club.
The purpose of the North Jersey Brittany Club is to promote cooperation and friendship among Brittany breeders and owners and to encourage higher standards in breeding, training and showing of the Brittany in the field and in the show ring. To discourage the breed from being split into two groups of “field dogs” and “show dogs” and to strive to forever to keep it a “dual dog”.
To help develop dual-dog Brittanys, the Club holds the following events and activities, which are often open to other “pointing breeds” as well:
Field trials
Conformation shows
intact Brittanys only
Hunt tests
Training days
A staunch point is just the beginning! See our Events and Membership pages for more information.
